Privacy Policy

Summary

• Files never leave your device. Processing happens locally in your browser.
• No uploads to our servers. There is no account system and no backend.
• Offline support (PWA) caches only the app UI shell. Your PDFs and exported files are never cached by us.
• Analytics is disabled by default and only runs if you consent.

Local processing

FreeStatementToCSV is a client-side-only web app. When you add a PDF/CSV/XLSX file, the file is read and processed locally by your browser (for example: PDF parsing, OCR, table extraction, and exports). We do not receive your files.

Exports (CSV/XLSX/PDF) are generated locally and downloaded directly to your device.

Analytics (consent-gated)

Analytics is disabled by default. If you opt in via the consent banner, we may collect basic usage metrics (page views and anonymized event counts).

• We do not track file contents.
• We do not record filenames.
• Events are limited to counts (e.g., tool opened, file count added, export clicked, OCR enabled).

You can change or revoke consent at any time.

Password-protected PDFs

Some statement PDFs are encrypted. If you know the password, you may enter it to unlock the PDF locally in your browser for processing. We do not crack or bypass encryption.
