1) Service description

FreeStatementToCSV provides client-side tools for converting and processing documents such as bank statements (PDF/CSV/XLSX) into exports like CSV or Excel. The tools run locally in your browser.

2) No uploads

The app is designed so that files are processed locally on your device. We do not provide an upload endpoint for your documents.

3) Password-protected PDFs

If a PDF is password-protected, you must know and provide the password to open it locally in your browser. We do not crack or bypass encryption.

4) Analytics (optional)

Analytics is disabled by default and only enabled after you consent. If enabled, analytics is limited to page views and anonymized event counts and never includes file contents or filenames.

5) No warranties

The tools are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs (CSV/Excel/PDF) before using them for financial, legal, or accounting purposes.

6) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeStatementToCSV will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from use of the tools.
